FOR ALL UTE FANS, AND THOSE THAT JUST CAN'T DECIDE

Okay, so I've had a few days to recuperate, and cry it all out. I guess it's good to know that I am capable of getting over devastating things. For some of you out there you may be thinking, holy cow, people are so weird the way they get into this whole BYU-UTAH thing. Well, for those of you that don't know, I am a huge BYU fan because of the way I grew up. My grandpa worked at the Y for many years, and my brother and I would go to football and basketball games every chance we got. We grew up in Sandy, but the 30 minute drive was SO worth it. You can say that blue ran through our blood. And despite having a cousin that played for the U and my brother having a brother-in-law that plays for the U, our blood still runs blue, and will till the day we die. However, this year I will be a big girl and will congratulate the U. Despite the fact that if a certain someone would have played even a remotely decent game we might just have come out with the victory, I will give it to the U. They played a great game, and dare I say it, I guess they deserved the win. Yikes!! That hurt!! Ouch!!!



Anyway, as a tribute to all you Ute fans out there, and those of you who are undecided, or just don't care, I would like to share a little something my brother sent to me yesterday. Even I had a good laugh.

And by the way, a little F.Y.I. Ike, no we are not related to Max Hall, so we won't see him at Thanksgiving to tell him thank you for you. And if we were related, he would not be invited anyway. :-)

Chris' blog

I have to tell people to check out Chris' blog with his airplane of the week. This one, I will admit, is a pretty cool one. He's done this one before, like when he first started his blog, but it didn't have the video with it, so I didn't pay much attention. Make sure you watch the video. What's even cooler, is that this airplane will eventually replace the F-16 that Chris works on at Hill and he will get to work on the new F-35. Of course, he has a few years before the change takes place.

Some family fun!

On Sunday my family came over to our house to celebrate my parents 29th anniversary. It also happened to be my little brother's 20th birthday, so we had some cake and ice cream and some fun. My brother is on a mission in Indiana, so he unfortunately couldn't make it.

As usual, when my family gets together the boys usually end up wrestling or doing some funky things with Jason and Laura. Sunday was no different. Most of the night was spent on the floor goofing off. What a blessing it is to have younger siblings to help get some of the extra energy out once in a while.

At least Ethan's not shy for the camera, like he seems to be with everything else!

This is Ethan and his cousin, Dylan. They are 7 months apart, but Dylan is so big, they look like they are the same age. He's definitely my brother's son! (Not Jason, who is holding them, my older brother Matt. Um, yeah, he's a little bigger.)

Chris- why is it that when our picture is taken together, 99.99% of the time you are sticking your tongue out in the direction of my cheek?

And, I guess I am a retard, but I forgot to get a picture of my parents together on Sunday, so here's the most recent one of them together.

Happy Anniversary!! You are such an amazing strength to me. I could never have asked for better parents because of your faith, testimonies, and example. It seems like in the hardest times of life, our true faith and testimonies stand right out. My parents have definitely experienced some hard times in the last 29 years, but during each of those times they have come together, relied on the Lord for strength, and endured. May the Lord continue to strengthen, and bless you guys through whatever else life has in store. I love you guys!!

Okay, so my brother-in-law told me that I am a slacker for not posting pictures of the boys from Halloween on my blog. I will admit, I didn't really think about it until after he said something. For those of you that know me well, you know that I don't really care for Halloween, and I was so happy the moment it was over. So maybe that would be the reason I didn't really think about it, subconsciously, I probably didn't want to. I guess all of the neighbors out there already saw the boys from trick-or-treating, but I kind of forgot that family didn't see them, so I'm sorry for being a slacker, and here they are!! Enjoy!

Chris and I went to a neighborhood Halloween party and this is what we dressed up as. We were twins. You can't see it but we rolled up our pants to our knees and wore orange and blacked striped socks up to our knees.
